# Obsidian

Obsidian mechs are rock-type mechs that are exclusively floating machines. They are from the mining planet Umbra for the purpose of breaking apart host rock into shards to sift through the harder, more valuable rocks within. The Obsidian special ability is Fracture Burst and +5% mining as a result of their talent in the mines. Obsidian mechs are weak to Tephra class mechs.
