New Mech City
The first ever released part of the Mech world map, divided into three major districts of Green Loop, Gibson Bay & Sprawl, and The Citadel.
New Mech City is divided into three major districts:
Green Loop
The Citadel
Gibson Bay
Each of the districts has it's own unique style, architecture and special arenas or mines, which all come from the rich history of the specific district. New Mech City was the first mech city built on the planet Nova and lot's has happened since it's beginning. Wars, rebellions and revolutions are all a part of this incredible city.
Green Loop
The first even Mech land sale happened in Green Loop. 300 plots of land, all sold out in a matter of minutes. The focal point of Green Loop is a giant tree of life located in the middle of the district, surrounded by lots of trees and nature. A fun fact about Green Loop is that it's currently the only district in New Mech City without a battle arena. Their arena is yet to be built and the decision on the exact game type, style and rules of the arena will be decided by a vote of the land owners.
The Citadel
The Citadel - the second released part of the New Mech City which has also sold out all 300 plots of land in less than 30 minutes. Now, there is a very interesting dynamic happening in the Citadel. It's divided into two parts: The Citadel and Degen Fields. The main part is ruled by the Elder Mechs that are trying to build a senate and govern the whole New Mech City.
Degen fields belong to the resistance group called Rebels and in their territory, it's a whole different world. They live without any rules or policy in place and are constantly trying to take down the tyrannical rule that Elder Mechs have over the Citadel. The most famous part of the Degen Fields is their Challenge Arena. It's probably the only place where you can challenge any opponent and win or lose everything. You can put up Ore or even your Mech as collateral and if you lose, your opponent takes it all.
Gibson Bay
Gibson Bay is the third and last released district of the New Mech city. Composed of 300 plots which all sold out in minutes, Gibson Bay also has a very interesting story behind it. In the main part of the district, right on the lake, is where Mech Corp. is located. Mech Corp plays a huge role in the Mech.com lore.
The second part of Gibson Bay is The Sprawl. The dark, cyberpunk part of the district is a very interesting place for lot's of Mech players because of it's Drift Arena. The Drift Arena is a special arena where racing tournaments are hosted.
